RTL8221B-VD-CG Ethernet IC 10/100/1000M/2.5G PHY Transceiver with QFN-48 Package and IEEE 802.3 Compatibility

RTL8221B-VD-CG is a highly integrated Ethernet PHY transceiver compatible with 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, and 2.5GBASE-T standards. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards and NBASE-T™ Alliance PHY specifications, it provides all necessary physical layer functions for transmitting and receiving Ethernet packets over CAT.5e UTP cable.

Utilizing advanced DSP technology and Analog Front End (AFE), the RTL8221B-VD-CG enables high-speed data transmission and reception. It incorporates comprehensive features including Crossover Detection & Auto-Correction, polarity correction, MDI swap, adaptive equalization, cross-talk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing recovery, RFI protection, thermal management, loopback diagnostic capability, and error correction for robust performance.

Data transfer between MAC and PHY occurs via the SERDES interface, supporting SGMII, HiSGMII, and 2500Base-X. The device operates at various digital I/O voltages including 3.3V and 1.8V.
