I. ADXL350: A Low-Power 3-Axis Accelerometer Designed for High-Performance Attitude Sensing

The ADXL350 is a compact, low-profile, low-power 3-axis accelerometer launched by ADI, featuring high resolution (13-bit) and a selectable measurement range of up to ±8g. The ADXL350 offers industry-leading temperature performance, ensuring minimum and maximum offset specifications across the temperature range. Digital output data is in 16-bit two’s complement format and can be accessed via SPI (3-wire or 4-wire) or I²C digital interfaces.

The ADXL350 is ideally suited for high-performance portable applications. It can measure static gravitational acceleration in tilt-detection applications, as well as dynamic acceleration caused by motion or impact. With its high resolution (2 mg/LSB), it is capable of resolving tilt changes of less than 1.0°.

The ADXL350’s low-power mode supports motion-based intelligent power management, enabling threshold sensing and motion acceleration measurement with extremely low power consumption.

- Full resolution, with resolution increasing as the g-range increases, reaching a maximum resolution of 13 bits at ±8 g (maintaining a proportional coefficient of 2 mg/LSB across the entire g-range)

Single-click/double-click detection and free-fall detection
